Mind Garden does not send your mind maps or to-dos to EasyDigital. No account, advertising or tracking is built into the app. Projects are stored on your Mac, with optional sync through a folder you choose.
Mind Garden is provided by Lukas Salasevicius under the EasyDigital name. For privacy questions, contact info@easydigital.app.
Your mind maps, idea titles, notes, tags, to-dos, illustrations and prompts are saved as project files, alongside local drafts and history copies. The app also stores local interface preferences and a small local record used to avoid asking for ratings too often. These records are not sent to us.
Mind Garden has no developer-operated content server and includes no advertising, third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. We do not sell personal information or use your project content for advertising or to train our own AI models.
You can open and export project files in locations you choose. The app remembers permission to access those locations using macOS security-scoped bookmarks. It does not receive general access to all your files.
Sync is optional. When you connect a folder, Mind Garden saves project copies and deletion/restoration state there. If you select iCloud Drive, Apple manages transfer and storage under your Apple Account and Apple’s privacy policy. If you choose another sync provider or a shared folder, that provider’s policies and the folder’s sharing settings apply. EasyDigital cannot access these files through your account.
Disconnecting a sync folder stops the app from using that folder. It does not delete copies already stored there or on other devices.
Illustration prompt suggestions use Apple’s on-device Foundation Models framework on supported Macs. To prepare a suggestion, the app supplies the map title, selected idea and related idea titles to that framework.
Drawing an illustration opens Apple’s Image Playground. Apple manages its models, permissions and availability. Depending on your macOS version, selected style and settings, Apple features may offer cloud processing or an external model such as ChatGPT. Review the choices shown by Apple before using them. We do not claim every Image Playground option is processed only on your device. See Apple Intelligence and privacy.
Mind maps and to-dos work without AI. The app includes a setting to turn off automatic illustration prompt suggestions.
Deleting a project in the app is reversible: it moves the project to Deleted projects, and local drafts or history may still contain copies. This is not a permanent erasure feature. To remove all copies, also remove exported files, local app data, sync-folder copies and backups you control. Your storage provider may retain recently deleted files under its own rules. Contact us if you need help finding your app data.
We cannot recover or erase project content on your behalf because it is not stored on our servers.
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use it to respond and resolve your request; please avoid attaching sensitive project files unless necessary. We retain support correspondence only as needed to handle the issue and meet applicable obligations. You can request access, correction or deletion by email.
Opening our support or privacy pages makes an ordinary web request to our hosting provider, Hostinger. This may produce standard server records such as your IP address, browser information, requested page and request time for delivery, security and troubleshooting. These pages do not include advertising or analytics scripts. Apple separately processes App Store downloads, ratings and any diagnostics you choose to share through Apple.
Mind Garden does not require an age or account and does not knowingly collect children’s personal information through the app. If support correspondence contains such information, contact us to request deletion. We will update this page when the app’s data practices change and revise the effective date.
